Unfortunately, likely due to the warm temperature of my room and the way my pieces were stored, they went mouldy. None of my pieces had particularly worked well either and so, after a meeting with my lecturer, it was decided that it would be best for me to start over. As we weren't sure if that mould was dangerous or not I binned those pieces.

The initial silicone mould I made does still work though, so I am now using it to cast plaster blocks. With these, I can cut into them, mark them and cast items onto the top to create my pieces. I am also leaving the pieces to dry for longer in a better ventilated room in the hopes that they won't go mouldy this time.
